Privacy Policy

What Shopthru.ai collects

• Your account details, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk: your name, work email, and authentication state.
• Your store's catalog and pages, read from your storefront and your connected Shopify store, so we can build audits and suggest fixes.
• Audit results: how AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, and Gemini) describe your brand when we ask them about it.
• Messages in your Inbox, so we can show you the conversation history.
• The email addresses of teammates you invite to your account.

The Shopthru Co-Pilot browser extension

The extension guides you inside your own store admin. It never clicks, types, or submits anything on your behalf, and here is everything it sends and stores:

• The one-time pairing code you paste in to connect the extension to your Shopthru.ai account, sent once to pair your browser.
• The current page's URL and its visible text, but only while you are paired and actively asking for help on that page. It is never sent in the background and never on pages outside an active guide session.
• Never your passwords, card numbers, or any credentials, and never your keystrokes.
• Nothing is stored in your browser beyond the pairing state itself (a session token and your own per-session allow list), kept locally on your machine. You can unpair at any time from the extension icon or from Shopthru.ai's Integrations page, which revokes it immediately.

Who processes this data

We use a small set of vendors to run the product, each limited to what they need to do their part:

• An AI answer monitoring provider, to read how AI assistants describe your brand.
• Azure OpenAI and Anthropic, for the analysis behind audits and agent replies.
• Google APIs (such as Search Console, Analytics, or Business Profile), only for the ones you connect.
• Clerk, for account sign-in.
• Slack, only if you connect it for notifications.
• Leadsy, on our public website (not the investor deck), to recognise which companies visit so we can follow up.
• Google Analytics, on our public website (not the investor deck), to count visits and see which pages are read.

We host the product on Microsoft Azure.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time, and deleting your account removes your data from our systems.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. Email privacy@shopthru.ai and we will respond.

Shopthru.ai is not for anyone under 18.
