How we handle data we collect about you, your team, and the merchants we serve.
Data we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, work email, company, role), data you authorize us to ingest from connected platforms (Shopify, Medusa, Google Search Console, analytics), and operational telemetry generated by your use of the product (pages viewed, agents invoked, audits run).
We do not knowingly collect data from end-shoppers other than aggregate, anonymized signals already exposed by the merchant surfaces we monitor.
How we use it
- Operate, secure, and improve the product.
- Generate visibility audits, recommendations, and agent outputs.
- Communicate with you about your account, support, and product updates.
- Aggregate, de-identified analytics to benchmark category trends.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use customer data to train foundation models.
Who we share it with
We share data with a small set of trusted sub-processors who are contractually bound to protect it: cloud infrastructure (AWS), LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, Cloro), error monitoring, and email delivery. The current list is available on request via legal@shopthru.ai.
Retention
We retain operational data for the life of your account plus a reasonable period for backups and legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar regimes) you may have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. Email privacy@shopthru.ai and we will respond within statutory timeframes.
Cookies
The investor site uses minimal first-party cookies for routing and basic analytics. The product app uses session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
