We spent months researching how AI shopping assistants actually recommend products - studying ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and others. The data was clear: brands were invisible in these new channels, and nobody could tell them why.
We're both engineers from CMU and Researchers at CLeaR Lab. We knew the answer wasn't another brand-level monitoring dashboard. It was SKU-level intelligence powered by causal inference - not just showing you what's happening, but why, and exactly what to change.
Shopthru.ai is the tool we wished existed when we saw how fast AI commerce was reshaping product discovery so we built it.
